SCHOOL ANNUAL REPORT

SESSION-2022-23

We thank the Almighty God for all the blessings bestowed upon us year after year, especially during the pandemic – academic session 2022-23.

ABPS, Gadchandur has been stepping from success to success all through the year since its humble beginning in 1983 and the past year has been no exception. At this juncture, we wish to put on record our sincere gratitude to the management, staff, students and the parents for their kind support and guidance. With great pleasure, we present in a nutshell the highlights of the past academic year 2022-23.

Academic Excellence – Student of X & XII appeared for the board exam and brought laurel to the institution. Master Gaurav Chhajed securing 94.2% stood first in 12^th CBSE exam and Miss Pragati Singh with 95.8% stood 1^st in 10^th CBSE.

Teachers – Capacity Building Programme – The school arranges a teacher orientation programme every year and in 2022 it was in virtual mode conducted by CBSE and other CBSE authorised agencies. Regular staff meetings were conducted to evaluate quality of performance and plan for the future with more innovative methods of teaching and learning programme.

Virtual Classes for Students – Since it was pandemic and school was not full-fledged offline started, virtual classes were conducted for the students. Only for 10^th and 12^th offline classes were conducted for few days.

Examinations: Periodical assessments and evaluations are conducted for the students and their progress were informed to the parents frequently through virtual Parent Teachers meeting. Subject enrichments activities were done by the students and teachers evaluated those as the internal assessment.

Co-curricular Activities and Celebrations: Due to pandemic the school was running virtual classes. Co-curricular activities were conducted in virtual mode. School took care of student’s emotional and behavioural development by inculcating sound moral values, responsibility and social awareness.

Parent-Teachers Meeting: We have a strong support of parents which we cherish every year. We had virtual meeting with the parents to discuss about their ward’s performance and academic result of their ward. Also days are set for parent teacher interaction, for motivational speech for students, parents are invited classwise in parent assembly.
