Since the establishment of The Aditya Birla Public School, Gadchandur in 1983, the school has paved the track of success till the date. The establishment 
of the school in remote and tribal area of Chandrapur district has proved to be an asset in term of quality education. School is from Grade 1 to 12 with Science Stream in Higher secondary and school is affiliated to CBSE.
Rome was not built in a day. It is very pertinent to mention that, then in session 1983-84, the
strength of students in school was 56 and the first batch of SSC appeared for Maharashtra State Board exam in 1987 included mere four students, today we have progressed leaps and bounds and the graph of progress of school as showing ascending trends has reached up to 879 (Session 2022-23).
The participation of students in various activities, in and out, of the school is overwhelming and up to its excellence. The well qualified thirty three faculties under the able guidance of the Principal devote their duties and play a vital role in sharing the progress and development of school. The infrastructure of the school is well equipped with all the modern necessities such as the furnished labs; computer, language, Chemistry, physics ,Biology, Social Science, Mathematics,Library, Sports room, Music & Dance and Arts room. The big play ground and surrounding Manikgarh Cement hills, greenery and garden enhances its beauty which facilitates in providing education in peaceful and pollution free atmosphere. Every year school takes pleasure in participating in the celebration of national events. Along with co-curricular activities school gives significance to the extracurricular activities like excursions, educational trips. Special care in means of extra classes and coaching by the teachers uplift the performance of the students and overall result of the school. The school activities such as literary and physical are part of academics and for functioning of these activities different clubs; Literary, Science, Environmental, Maths are formed. The vital aspects like speech, debates, Quiz and Elocution are conducted periodically. The “THE CHRONICLE”, monthly Newsletter of the school is the account of best practices in the school. Besides school exams,Olympiad exam, CBSE organised competitions, awareness programmes, guest lectures, medical check up camps are the part of integral part of academic calendar. For the teachers Capacity building
programs, trainings, workshop organised by the ABEA, CBSE and other agencies are part of
upgrading the faculty. Our pass out students has been making successful careers in the lucrative fields like medical, engineering, corporate and technical fields. MILESTONE OF THE SCHOOL
The very prestigious institution in the education field in the locality of Gadchandur has achieved many milestones in social and educational fields. Recently the school has got the new name The Aditya Birla Public School. The school has started its way in the year 1983 and very successfully competed its 25 years of silver jubilee. In these years the school has produced many intellectuals and citizens to the country. At the social level the school has established its shadow to change and cultivate the new social structure in the locality through many school activities.
The school produces meritorious results in the CBSE and STATE 10th and 12th standards every year. Along with regular curriculum, the school encourages students to participate at different level (local level, district level, division level, state level, national level, international level) competitions to enrich their skills. The school’s curricular and co-curricular activities provide healthy atmosphere for the students to build different skills. The school provides different games and sports events to enhance student’s physical and mental health.
