THE ADITYA BIRLA PUBLIC SCHOOL RENUSAGAR SONEBHADRA

The Renusagar power division, an offspring of Hindalco Industries Limited, is a coal based thermal power plant at Renusagar, Sonebhadra district, UP, and has an installed capacity of 742 MW with 10 TGs and 11 PF fired boilers. The first unit was installed in 1967 while the latest was installed in 2003. Being technology receptive, the plant has always advocated for a steadfast, coherent and cost effective technology and moved away from PLC based control to DCS based control systems and more. Since the last 37 years, the plant has been operating with a distinct consistent performance setting a benchmark for plant load factor {PLF] of 87.2% and 90% in the last 10 years which is well above the national average. With a dedicated and committed employee strength of 3200 plus, it has brought down the consumption of natural resources like coal, oil and water. Being ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000 certified company, quality, environment, safety and health are our prerogative.  The vision, mission and value of Aditya Birla group guide our policy and strategy. The Aditya Birla Public School, Renusagar, primarily known as Vidya Mandir, was founded in the year 1977, by Shri G.D . Babu, who was not only, “service before self” personified but also had a far flung vision. Being farsighted, he ideated the need for rapid industrial growth on one hand and a concrete defacto, qualitative education on the other. This gave birth to a chain of reputed institutions across the nation, serving as a torch bearer to knowledge seekers and keeping the noble tradition alive. From a humble beginning with a handful of 39 students, it now stands at 700 admissions which continues to scale up. The present building was inaugurated by the group chairman, late Syt. A. V. Birla, on the 22nd August, 1987. Since then, the school has scaled peaks and continues to enrich the young future.

The Aditya Birla Public School-Renusagar primarily known as Vidya Mandir, founded in the year 1977, brings to us the memory of Late Sriyut Ghanshyam Dasji Birla, popularly known as G D Babu who was a dedicated soul to the service of mankind endowed with a global vision . He had foreseen the need of rapid industrial growth against the backdrop of a sound, effective and qualitative education. It was his zealous efforts that saw the birth of many reputed institutions all over the world. Vidya Mandir also a link of that chain service as a torch bearer for the seekers of knowledge who come in quest of learning keeping in tune with glorious tradition. In the year, 2002, Vidya Mandir was brought under theumbrella of The Aditya Birla Group of Schools and was christened as The Aditya Birla Public School-Renusagar devoted to the cause of disseminating exemplary education with a dedicated and highly qualified staff.
