HISTORY OF SCHOOL & THE UNIT

The Aditya Birla Public School, Hirmi was established as L&T DAV Public School in the year 1992 under the aegis of L&T Cements Ltd and was rechristened as the Aditya Birla Public School, Hirmi in the year 2006 after the takeover by the Ultra Tech Cements Ltd of Aditya Birla Group. The school was set up to fulfil the need of quality education for the children of Ultra Tech Cements Ltd. Hirmi employees and the surrounding locality.
The school is located at Hirmi, (Baloda Bazar district, Chhattisgarh) at about 18 km from Tilda Railway station and 70 km from Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
The Aditya Birla Public School is an English medium Co-Educational Secondary institution affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi vide Affiliation No 3330024 and School No: 15255. As on today the school is imparting education to more than 478 students through 22 qualified and committed staff. The School is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
